Tom Martino, proprietor of Majestic Lanes, has been named the recipient of the BPAA President's Medal which will be awarded to Tom at the BPAA Bowl Expo in Las Vegas in June.
The BPA of North Jersey was recognized by the BPAA for having the Best Bowling Promotion in 2009. The promotion regarded building company party business.
Stacy Karten, co-executive director of the BPANJ, was recognized by the United States Bowling Congress as a winner for 2009 in the national bowling writing competition in the editorial category. Stacy writes a monthly column for Bowling Center Management magazine.
The Garden State Games bowling competition will take place on Sunday, July 11, at Majestic Lanes. The entry deadline is June 26. Entry fee is $25 for the 6-game event. For more information, contact Joyce Brokling at 973-895-5399.
